If a student tells me that they are interested in choosing an EE in Physics, my first reaction is to say "No!" .... or at least to ask you to stop and think. EEs in Physics (and all the practical sciences) are genuinely difficult, particularly to get a high, A, grade in. They almost all involve significant amounts of practical work as well as literature searches, synthesis and writing. Unlike IA's in science, which are meant to be done on material covered in the course, science EE's should go beyond the course. If getting a high grade in the EE is very important to you, then maybe look elsewhere.
However, if you are passionate about Physics or engineering, if you are thinking of applying to study those or related subjects in higher education and if you have a good idea then maybe Physics is something to think about. And who needs an A in the EE, it's only an extra point or two :)
Anyway, if you are still interested then read on ....
Almost the hardest thing about an EE in Physics is choosing a topic. Again, if you are really unable to choose a topic then I STRONGLY suggest considering an EE in another subject.
The Sodding Big List of IAs / EEs on this website is a good place to look if you are a bit stuck for ideas (but don't stay stuck for too long!)
A good school website with lots of support, particularly in the writing of the EE in that of the International School of Manila. Also has some examples. Another good page is that of American International School of Bucharest.
In the folder below please find several fairly recent examples. All did fairly well although none is perfect. They should, however, give you a fair idea of decent formats and the sort of product you should be aiming for.
